Program

Professional Programs, a Stricto Sensu graduate education modality, are regulated by the ordinances of the Ministry of Education No. 389, dated March 23, 2017, and No. 131, dated June 28, 2017.
These programs are designed to train professionals in various fields of knowledge through the study of techniques, processes, or topics that address specific labor market demands.

Our program was created with the purpose of bringing UFSCar closer to society. Its objective, within the context of Production Engineering, is to enhance the competitiveness and productivity of public and private organizations. In practical terms, the program seeks to apply the scientific and technological knowledge generated at the university to solve complex business problems, enabling the development of advanced and innovative solutions for these organizations.

The Professional Master's in Production Engineering at UFSCar falls under the Production Management concentration area. This area offers an innovative contribution to the country, as it explores the interfaces between managerial perspectives, technological changes, quality management, work organization, and supply chain coordination. This perspective necessarily incorporates knowledge generated on these topics in fields related to Production Engineering, such as Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, and Health Sciences. This approach facilitates the formulation of policies, strategies, programs, and actions suited for companies, supply chains, business sectors, and governmental institutions.
